Belgium

Belgium is a European country bordered by the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, and France. Belgium's towns pack in more history, art, food and architecture than its larger neighbours, yet it remains a peaceful retreat for many.

Belgium has a rich cultural past (and present) with folklore and festivals playing a major part throughout the year. The Carnival of Binche with its famous Gilles, and the 'Processional Giants and Dragons' draw crowds from around the world, the religious processions of the Holy Blood in Bruges, Virga Jesse in Hasselt and the Walloon festival are a few more celebrations to enjoy.
