When it comes to year round vacation spots, Austria is king. During the winter months the Alps are a hive of activity, attracting skiers and sports fans from near and far. There is plenty of suitable accomodation in the area, guides and instructors are there for help if need be and you will also find a great atmosphere with like minded people.

If you didn't visit to find snow and mountain peaks, meander through country of picture postcard houses, art and architecture. Impressive buildings home paintings and exhibits while town squares scream tradition and music fills the air. Austria was , of course, the birthplace of many famous composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Johann Straussto name a few.
